WITH an accumulated wealth of NT$6bil (RM800mil), Taiwanese star Jay Chou is said to be renting a private jet in order to make it in time for his gigs, reported Kwong Wah Yit Poh.

With each of his show costing the organiser NT$10mil (RM1.33mil), it is still worthwhile to fly in a rented private jet by paying NT$2mil (RM270,000) for daily use.

He posted a picture showing a spacious cabin with mini bar and foldable table on Instagram

But he didn’t respond when asked whether the aeroplane was his.

When asked by the media, Chou’s agency, JVR Music, clarified that he did not have a private jet.

Several years ago, talk had it that Chou owned a Boeing 737 private jet priced at NT$500mil (RM66.46mil).

> Guang Ming Daily reported that Chinabased Malaysian singer Shila Amzah won’t have a duet with her husband Haris Elias during her concert at Arena Of Stars in Resorts World Genting, Genting Highlands, on Sept 29.

“He is tone deaf. He won’t sing with me,” she was quoted by the daily when asked whether her hubby would share the same stage during her Loving You World Tour concert.

Shila said her husband had wanted her to teach him to sing, adding that he had not seen her performing on stage.

“He is getting better. Before that, he could not even follow the tempo.

“To get him on stage is impossible because he is very shy,” she said.
