Malaysian fans of Hong Kong’s God of Songs Jacky Cheung just can’t seem to get enough of the singer.

After his three sold out shows in January this year, the singer is coming back to serenade fans in Malaysia. And this time, fans who missed his shows are not taking chances.

About 25 hardcore Cheung fans were already in line outside Quill City Mall as early as Tuesday night even though tickets to the 57-year-old singer’s upcoming A Classic Tour shows in Kuala Lumpur will only go on sale on Sunday.

These fans arrived at the venue well prepared with camping gear, water bottles, travel bags, fans and portable air conditioners.

A fan who only wanted to be known as Cheah joined the queue on Wednesday night with two of his friends.

“It is quite challenging staying overnight outside the mall for a few days. But I am sure it will be worth the effort,” said Cheah.

Only 800 tickets will be sold on a first-comefirst-served basis where a queue number will be given to customers an hour before the start of the sale at 1pm on Sunday.

Each customer is entitled to purchase four tickets only. Online sales begin on Sept 4 at 11am.

Cheung’s A Classic Tour concert is slated for Oct 5, 6 and 7 at the Axiata Arena Bukit Jalil.

Tickets are priced at RM988, RM888, RM748, RM618, RM488, RM368 and RM258.

In January this year, Cheung staged three sold-out shows at the same venue. Tickets to his shows were snapped up as soon as they went on sale in 2017.
