Syafiq surprised by his fans’ reception in Brunei

CELEBRITY Syafiq Kyle (pic) was surprised by the reception he received from his fans when launching his newest Tshirt collection in Brunei, Kosmo! reported.

“I was shocked by the fans’ ovation throughout the launch ceremony of Kylez RTW.

“I am thankful to the many people who came to support me,” said the 26yearold actor.

Syafiq’s following in the tiny oilrich nation grew sharply after he starred as Ustaz Adam in the drama series Nur.

Dr Ajura Abdul Jalil’s mother, Esah @ Aishah Talib, 75, suffered a fall at her home in Taman Bangi Perdana on Wednesday and died shortly after.

Her husband, Roslan Ismail, 49, and their son Ahmad Azrifaiz, 18, drowned after falling into Sungai Langat during a fishing trip on Sunday.

“This is all God’s plan. I accept the passing of my dearest. Though I am completely devastated, I understand that life goes on. I need to be strong for my children who are still with me,” said Dr Ajura, 48.

Her eldest will be entering Universiti Malaysia Pahang next week to study engineerin­g.

The report does not say how many children the couple has.
