Bukit Jelutong multipurpose centre opens

MST Golf are spreading their wings further and have procured the driving range and pro shop to turn the Shah Alam property into the Bukit Jelutong Golf Centre.

The largest golf retailer in the region, MST opened their doors for business on Sept 1 and are targeting Shah Alam and its surrounding areas

“The pro shop is carrying many of the world’s leading brands,” MST Golf chief executive officer Ng Yap said.

“This includes equipment, apparel and accessories from, among others, Mizuno, Honma, Yamaha, OnOff, TaylorMade, XXIO, Cobra Puma Golf, Wilson Staff, Antigua, PGA Tour, adidas, Nike Golf, Cutter & Buck, UnderArmour, Stuburt, CK Golf and Bell&Page.”

The MST CEO added that the outlet was 2,100 square feet in area and that the driving range stretched no less than 250 metres.

“There are two storeys with 53 bays where the golfers can hit balls. There is also a ball-vending machine that is a novel facility for the early bird players.”

Ng added that the academy at Bukit Jelutong Golf Centre had internationally accredited pro instructors and that a junior programme was conducted over weekends.

“This is to keep the interests of the young and budding players going and help develop the sport at junior level,” he said.

“The centre also comes with brand fitting events that are scheduled on a regular basis,” added Ng.
