Nur Nabilah shoots down two golds for Pahang

PAHANG continued their domination n in shooting competitio­n at the Dar rul Ridzuan Shooting Range by baggi ing three gold medals.

Nik Nur Nabilah Syahidah Nik NorN Rosdi was their star of the day when shes shot home two of the gold medals yesterday.

She finished tops in the individual 25m sports pistol event with a score of 564, which was just two points more than Johor's Nurul Syasya Nadiah Mohd Arifin who won the silver. In tthird place was Nor Syafiqah Hairol AAnuar of Negri Sembilan who scored 552 for the bronze.

And Nabilah's high score was also m re thhan enough to help her team to the goldg in the team event of the 25m sports pistol.

Together with Nur Atirah Mohd Faizul Anuar and Nurul Huda Khairu Nasir, the trio shot a combined score of 1626 for the state.

Negri Sembilan were second with 1597 and Sarawak with 1572.

And the third gold for Pahang came through the boys’ 10m air pistol team event when the trio of Adib Abu Hassan Ashairi, Syaidiq Hanif June Hassen and Wan Syafiq Wan Muztaza scored 1670 in the final.

Perak scored 1664 while Negri Sembilan came in third with 1662.

Pahang currently lead the medal tally standings for shooting with a whopping 10 gold medals, followed by hosts Perak with nine and Johor three.
