Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Fadzil Ahmat said North Klang police were informed about the alleged theft at about 9am on Tuesday.

“We arrived at the scene and arrested the suspect and seized his vehicle in which were pieces of metal.

“The suspect was taken to the Bukit Raja police station,’’ he said, adding it was the guards who handed over the man to the police.

“The suspect lost consciousness at the police station and was taken to Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah.

“He was pronounced dead at around noon. The man was identified as S. Asogan Naidu,” he said, adding a postmortem would be conducted to determine the cause of death.
