> Unfair outcome

-

Officials who swept the sexual harassment complaints under the carpet including the “sexual predator” were rewarded with promotions. Poor innocent doctors in Orthopaedic Department were given a “slap on the face”. Where is justice in this country? Is this the government that Tun M envisioned?

> Too lenient

Really? Babysitter to serve only 18 months for killing toddler with chilli?

An innocent young life has been taken away and the parents will now have to live with their pain for the rest of their lives. 18 months is pure mockery!

>Solar power

Recently I read that some companies are experimenting with installing solar panels on roads. Other innovations are the production of roof and wall tiles to harness electricity. It pleases me to know that these innovations will light our way to a brighter future. – Marde K

> Re-examine ITIS

ITIS should be revamped or scrapped. Let’s get real. Many of us know what the feeling is like to get caught or trapped in a traffic gridlock. ITIS should provide real time information on the ground so that motorists know which are the roads to avoid especially during flash floods, when traffic lights are down or there are just really bad traffic jams. Come on DBKL, be more proactive in this matter. – C.Marshall

> Remark uncalled for

Hats off to CCID director Amar Singh for daring Manchester-based blogger Raja Petra to come here and lodge a police report to substantiate his allegations of a shortfall of monies seized in the police raids on ex-PM’s residences. The blogger’s retort that the director’s turban is too tight is downright racist, defamatory and filled with malevolent intentions. – Beatle No.5

> Road to recovery

To the victims and relief workers of the Sulawesi quake and tsunami, our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Hope that the road to recovery will be a smooth one. – May

> Improve service

Went to the post office hoping to renew my car insurance and waited for a long time. Although their banner boasts of having all the insurance companies on board, that was not the case. The post office is an agent for only a few companies. Even the clerk was unable to tell me this before trying to enter the details. Do not advertise services you don’t offer please. – Disappointed

> Reduce premiums

The present government should review the insurance premiums for all types of vehicles. Presently, it is too exorbitant and is a burden to a majority of motorists. – Subra
