PETALING JAYA: Ten years and still going strong – the Perfect Livin home expo continues to wow house owners with quality home solutions at affordable prices.

As an added attraction, those visiting the exhibition will not have to worry about paying more for the Sales and Service Tax (SST) as most of the exhibitors have agreed to lock in the prices of the products.

“The home expo has opened its door to millions of happy home shoppers in almost 100 exhibitions nationwide, generating over RM3bil in sales in the last 10 years.

“Last year, 22,000 units of properties were launched in Kuala Lumpur alone and 13,522 units were released into the market in Selangor,” he said, adding that residential properties remained the driver of the local market, accounting for 62.4% at the end of last year.

“Our home expo will continue to be relevant to the market as we give a one-stop solution to house own- ers,” said i.Star Ideas Factory Sdn Bhd director Jason Yap.

The flagship exhibition is being held at the Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur from now until Sunday.

A total of 80,000 visitors are expected to throng the four-day exhibition, generating RM50mil to RM60mil in sales.

“Visitors should not worry about the recent implementation of the SST as the exhibitors have worked together with us to absorb it.

“About 90% of our exhibitors have locked in the prices of their products while some even lowered their prices to attract customers,” added Yap.

There will be over 400 exhibitors at some 1,000 booths offering the latest in home furnishing, renovation, electrical appliances or decorations.

Visitors can also check out a culinary showcase by French chef Nathalie Arbefeuille and celebrity Datuk Chef Wan on Oct 6 and Oct 7 respectively, from 2pm to 3.30pm.

Each day, the first 1,000 registered visitors will get a free exclusive limited-edition Perfect Livin ‘18 aluminium drinking bottle.

The exhibition is open from 10am to 9pm. Admission is free.
