Meanwhile, Mohamad Fuzi said police were still waiting for a full report from the Malaysian AntiCorruption Commission (MACC) on the arrest of 12 policemen in Sabah recently.

“They have not been suspended as the investigation has only just begun.

“We have to be fair to them and we will wait for a full report from the MACC,” he said.

On Tuesday, it was reported that 12 policemen and officers were arrested for having received bribes since 2014.

On the ongoing murder investigation of Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Nazrin Hassan, Mohamad Fuzi said that the remains of the victim would be reburied on Friday following the conclusion of the second postmortem.

On Monday, Nazrin’s remains were exhumed at the Kota Damansara Muslim Cemetery so that a second postmortem could be performed.

Under heavy police escort, the remains were transported to the Universiti Malaya Medical Centre, where the second autopsy was held.
