> A “considerate” thief who could not overcome his desire to ride a superbike, stole one but not before leaving a note to the owner detailing his plan, reported Utusan Malaysia.

The unidentified man rode the superbike for 2km before leaving it at a condominium in Damansara Perdana, Petaling Jaya, on Tuesday.

The Yamaha R6 owner, Mohd Khairul Anuar Mohd Jamil, only realised that his superbike was missing when he was about to leave for work from his residence in Flora Damansara.

Mohd Khairul, 32, said the suspect had taken his superbike after breaking into his Ford Fiesta car to steal the duplicate key and leaving a note.

The note read: “I want to apologise for stealing your motorcycle. I have no intention of stealing it but I really want to experience riding a superbike. I sincerely apologise.”

At the back of the note, the suspect wrote that the superbike would be parked at the Damansara Perdana condominium parking lot.
