Chance to win prizes adds shine to auto show

KUALA LUMPUR: Visitors to the Kuala Lumpur Internatio­nal Motor Show 2018 (KLIMS’18) will get a chance to drive home a Toyota C-HR, a Honda City and a Perodua Myvi.

Every entrance ticket purchased stands a chance to win these prizes in the KLIMS’18 visitors’ lucky draw.

Also, each online purchase of KLIMS’18 entrance ticket at AirAsia Red Tix is entitled to one entry of fortnightl­y draws with AirAsia return flights to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Bali, Taipei, Jakarta and Shanghai as well as the grand draw to Tokyo, up for grabs.

The auto show is organised by the Malaysian Automotive Associatio­n (MAA).

It will be held from Nov 23 to Dec 2 at the Malaysia Internatio­nal Trade and Exhibition Centre with the theme “Beyond Mobility”.

Opening hours are 11am to 10pm on weekdays and 10am to 10pm on weekends.

Entrance fees are RM20 for adults on weekdays and RM25 on weekends; RM5 for students and children 12 years and below on weekdays and weekends.

There is also a family package of RM40 on weekdays and RM50 on weekends for a family with up to five children aged 12 and below.

MAA president Datuk Aishah Ahmad said the auto show would feature exciting concept cars, innovative automotive products and attraction­s such as vehicles developed and imagined by university students, exotic vehicles, the longest limousine in Malaysia and fancy customised art on bikes and vehicles.

“KLIMS’18 is the country’s launch pad for new passenger car models, bikes and commercial vehicles. After a five-year hiatus since the previous KLIMS, Malaysia’s iconic motor show will be back with exciting exhibits and attraction­s,” said Aishah at the launch of the KLIMS’18 advertisin­g and promotion campaign at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral, which was opened by Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Muhammad Bakhtiar Wan Chik.
