In the 21st edition of Kembara Mahkota Johor, Sultan Ibrahim Ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar will be covering 777km in three days.

The Johor Ruler, renowned for his collection of vehicles, will visit 10 districts in his annual commitment to meet the people.

The trip, which started yesterday, ends tomorrow.

This time around, Sultan Ibrahim used the British-made Morgan three-wheeler, which made its debut in last year’s Kembara, the train and a Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Sultan Ibrahim previously used a Harley Davidson motorcycle, a yacht, train, trucks, a 4WD vehicle, and a bus in his annual Kembara expedition, which is one of the state’s most iconic events.

Among the districts that His Majesty and the royal family would be visiting are Kota Tinggi, Mersing, Kluang, Segamat, Tangkak, Pagoh, Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai and Pasir Gudang.

The road trip started at around 8.20am at Istana Pasir Pelangi in Johor Baru with Sultan Ibrahim and Permaisuri Johor Raja Zarith Sofiah Almarhum Sultan Idris Shah driving 45km in their open-top Morgan.

“Raja Zarith and I cannot wait to meet the rakyat in all the districts in Johor.

“The weather is good, though it is a little hot but the journey will continue,” Sultan Ibrahim said in a statement posted on His Majesty’s official Facebook page.
