> Has it been found?

Is there any update on the Radioactive Dispersal Device (RDD) that was reported missing on Aug 10? It was also reported that the device had a market value of about RM75,000 and could cause massive radiation exposure if it is dismantled for scrap metal.

> Don’t allow rally

There is clearly no need for Umno and PAS to hold their rally on Dec 8. Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has given his word that ICERD would not be ratified. The police must be firm and not allow the rally to be held. – William Ong

> Cameras at crossings

The Johor Baru City Council should install surveillance cameras at all road crossings in JB because most motorists do not slow down or stop at these places. – Johorapi

> Call for severe penalty

The disturbing allegation that rogue lawyers were paid to hire thugs to create a ruckus at the Seafield Sri Maha Mariamman Temple must be fully investigated. If they did so, these black sheep lawyers are a blot to their profession, which demands the highest code of ethics and integrity. They have contributed to racial tension. Disbarment is necessary if they are found guilty by the Disciplinary Board. – Beatle No.5 The people behind those gangsters/ provocateurs who caused the fracas at the Seafield temple should be punished under the law. They had no right to enter the temple and cause trouble.

> Flyers menace

The Johor Bahru Tengah Municipal Council should take stern action against distributors of flyers especially in Taman Ungku Tun Aminah, Skudai. These unscrupulous distributors employ foreigners to stuff all sorts of flyers into our letter boxes. A lot of these flyers end up being scattered around, littering the housing areas. I appeal to the municipal council to put a stop to this activity. – Angry resident

> Just cut them off

I concur with Frustrated, “Cut off phone line” ( The Star SMS, Nov 29). I called the Customs Department to get some clarifications on SST for the best part of a day but nobody picked up the phone. – AK

> Bad Internet service

There is so much talk about further improving Streamyx and other services for Internet access. But in some places like Bukit Beruntung, the service is just terrible and has not improved even after numerous complaints were lodged by residents. – Frustrated

> Rights for LGBT

I fully agree with the view that LGBT should be treated equally, “Treat LGBT people kindly” ( The Star, Nov 22). They just happened to be born that way and we should support them. – FL
