HK music legend grateful for football star’s jersey
HONG Kong’s God of Songs Jacky Cheung expressed his thanks to French football star Kylian Mbappe for giving him an autographed jersey, reported Guang Ming Daily.
“Good day, Mr Mbappe, I am Jacky Cheung,” he said on a video, while holding onto the number 7 Paris Saint-Germain jersey worn by Mbappe.
“I am honoured to have received your jersey.
“I will keep it nicely, thank you very much!” he said after completing his 207th show concert in Paris.
Earlier, Mbappe, 19, had wished Cheung luck for his concert.
He also presented Cheung with an autographed jersey with the words “Jacky Cheung No. 207” on it.

He was swarmed with questions by Hong Kong media over the matter as netizens and the media feverishly debated who the father is.
The baby boy was born at the Hong Kong Sanatorium and Hospital on Nov 25.
Cheung, 38, has two sons with Tse – Lucas, 11, and Quintus, eight.
She has so far not disclosed the identity of her third son’s father.
Tse has since posted a picture of himself in Taiwan.
Coincidentally, his girlfriend Faye Wong was also in Taipei having meals with her best friend Chiu Li-Kwan and agent Katie Chan.
Chiu posted a picture of them on Facebook, with captions that read: “We had a great time catching up, and the meals were lovely.”
Asked whether she and Wong discussed new albums, movies or concerts, Chiu just smiled.
“Nothing has been finalised, and I can’t reveal much. It’s just a gathering among good friends!” she said.
