Kondi is a game played with a long and short sticck.

The short sticck is placed acrooss a small hole whilew the long stickk is used as a batt to launch it into the air and hit it as far as possible. There are many different rules and versions of the game, depending on where it is played. > Gasing, or top, wwas a poopular pastime among the youngg and old and is sttill played on the Eaast Coast. The tops are made of wood oor hard fruit, iron and lead. There are two ways to play gasing –spinning or striking. In the spinning contest, the longest spinning top wins the event while in the striking match, the objective is to knock the other top out of the ring.

> Batu

Seremban or five stonnes was commmonly played among girls and inn groups of betweenn two and five people. The idea of the game is to catch as many stones as possible after each level to determine a winner. > Polis sentri or cops and thieves is played between two groups, one police, the other thieves. It is basically a game of strategy. The police team is responsibl­e for “catching” all the thieves and putting them in a “cell”. At the same time, the other thieves can “rescue” those who are caught. The game ends when all the thieves are captured.

> Tuju Selipar is a game of aim and accuracy. In this game, a deck of cards is arranged and stacked inside a small circle. A slipper is usedd tot knockkk theseth cards out of the circle. Players get to keep cards they successful­ly remove from the circle.
