Student by day, pimp by night

Undergrad held for exploiting three women

-

A UNIVERSITY student has been nabbed in Kota Baru, Kelantan, over allegations of pimping three women, Berita Harian reported.

Following the arrest of the 24-year-old man, a second-year human resources student in a private university, police held a 36-year-old woman while she was “serving” a client at an apartment.

The other two women, aged 27 and 40, were arrested in a raid on another apartment. Their modus operandi was to offer sexual services via WeChat. They would then meet with the clients at hotels.

“The university student would act as the pimp by liaising with the client,” said the police.

The women would move from one state to another and charge RM300 per session.

> Despite being born without arms, 51-yearold Rahim Yusoff can sew a set of baju Melayu every day, reported Harian Metro.

“I was born with only two fingers on my right shoulder and one on my left,” he said.

“But I am grateful that my legs are normal and I have three fingers to help me earn a living,” said Rahim, better known as Poksu Mie.

When interviewed at his shop in Machang, Kelantan, Rahim said his customers frequently ordered clothes from him because of his efficiency.

He added that they were often surprised that he could complete the baju Melayu in a day.

He charges about RM90 for an outfit and RM5 for repair work such as altering jeans.

Rahim said he could earn about RM30 daily and could fend for his family.

He has three children aged between four and 14. His 44-year-old wife is paralysed from the waist down.
