Trauma kept Raja Farah from revealing pregnancy

ACTRESS and TV host Raja Farah (pic) says her past miscarriag­es led her to keep mum about her latest pregnancy, reported Berita Harian.

Raja Farah, whose real name is Raja Farah Raja Aziz, is almost five months pregnant.

“It wasn’t my intention to keep the pregnancy secret, it’s just that I was traumatise­d after having experience­d two miscarriag­es.

“But now that I am more than four months along and after speaking to my doctor, I feel ready to share the news,” the 30-year-old added.

She has a two-year-old son with her husband Iskandar Ismail.

> The daily also reported that a couple in Kota Baru, Kelantan, proved that their love can weather any challenge when they held their wedding reception during a flood.

Nur Suzana Jalil, 26, and Mohd Hafsham Ismail, 31, did not cancel their reception at Kampung Lubuk Pukul Banggul, Binjai, on Saturday despite ankle-deep floodwater­s.

Although Nur Suzana was concerned by the rising water level, she was relieved that the food preparatio­n for the guests was not disrupted.

“(It’s just that) the guests had to walk in the flood,” she said.

> The body of schoolteac­her Abd Rauf Mohd Zulkarnain, who drowned while swimming on Thursday evening, has been found, reported Sinnar Harian.

The body was found onn Saturday morning near the sluice of the Setiu Irrigation and Drainage Department, according to Setiu Fire and Rescue Department chief Mustafa Ismail.

He said Abd Rauf had been swimming at Sungai Setiu with his brother and two friends when he was swept away by strong currents.
