Man unknowingly invites child ghost home
IN a column called “Misteri”, Mingguan Malaysia ran a spooky story about a boy who was seen at a staircase in a flat in Ampang, Selangor.
The narrator of the story, Muhammad Shahrir, said he bumped into the child, believed to be around seven years old, when he returned home at about 2am from his work at a restaurant.
When Shahrir tried to talk to him, the boy merely kept quiet.
This was related to his flatmates, who cautioned him about it being a ghost.
But he laughed it off, saying: “If I were to see him again, I will invite him home and introduce him to all of you.”
One morning, Shahrir woke up to a commotion at the living room.
A flatmate said that he saw a boy in the kitchen earlier that morning at about 4am.
Shahrir then recalled that he had heard footsteps behind him when he came home that night. They moved out a week later. > Motherhood has changed sing- er Misha Omar, who admits that her feelings are easily moved ever since she had her own kids.
“I don’t know why but I am easily touched, especially when the conversation is about children,” she told BH Ahad.
Misha, 37, has two sons. The elder boy started school last week.
She spoke of how she got emotional once while watching a singing competition.
“The contestant wept while singing a song as it was linked to her losing her dad,” she said.
