Yeoh initially disliked ‘Crazy Rich Asians’ role

MALAYSIAN actress Tan Sri Michelle Yeoh has disclosed that she initially turned down the role of a mean, fussy and unkind mother in Crazy Rich Asians after reading the script, reported China Press.

Yeoh said like acclaimed director Ang Lee, Chu was very hardworking.

During the audition, Chu made sure that he personally screened all the potential Asian actors and actresses from London, Costa Rica, Australia and the United States, she said.
