> Call for stiff punishment
I hope the Taman Mutiara MRT lift attacker if proven guilty would be put away behind bars for a very long period and also be given maximum strokes of the cane. The sentence must act as a deterrent to other criminals out there. The police deserve salutations for their quick action. Well done. – Aponi
> Poking cartons
I always have to be very careful when putting away the eggs in plastic cartons. The sharp corners poke through the plastic bag packed at the shop, poke holes in my shopping bag and sometimes poke me too! Is it not possible for the corners of these plastic cartons to be rounded off? Help! – S. Leong

> Big achievement
Congratulations to C. Sree Abiraame, seven, on her outstanding performance in ice skating events. She has just done Malaysia proud by clinching not one but three gold medals at the Middle East 4th official ISI International Figure Skating tournament in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Syabas, Sree.
> Worthy proposal

> Sin of the taker

> Police, be proactive
The police should take more proactive action to deter criminals and protect the people. – Subra
> Hidden benefactor
Surely the police and MACC should know who funded Sirul’s flight to Australia and his stay there?
