Taiwanese supermodel does not mind dating a short guy

-

TAIWANESE supermodel Lin Chiling ( pic) has said that she did not mind dating a guy shorter than her, reported Sin Chew Daily.

The model, who is 1.73m tall and has acted in John Woo’s battle epic Red Cliff, was asked by reporters if she ever thought of looking for a partner on dating apps.

The 44-year-old, who recently put paid to rumours of her rekindling her romance with actor Jerry Yan, was at an event to endorse mobile games.

“I think it is possible. I have a friend who found love on such apps and is now married,” said Lin.

Asked on her preferences, she said the height and weight of possible suitors were not a problem.

“He can even be shorter than me,” she said.

> Nanyang Siang Pau reported that guidelines by South Korea’s Gender Equality and Family Ministry to curb K-pop stars from looking alike had come under fire.

The recent guidelines for TV stations and production companies had stated that the artistes on music programmes looked alike.

“Are they twins?” asked the guidelines, adding that the entertainment programmes lacked diversity in terms of both music content and the look of their performers.

The artistes, they criticised, were always “slim, fair – even sporting similar hair and makeup styles –and dressed scantily.”

However, the guidelines, which were heavily criticised, has since been withdrawn.

It was reported that around one third of South Korean women had undergone plastic surgery.
