Woman stabs hubby’s lover after threesome

SIBU: A woman has been detained for allegedly injuring her husband’s girlfriend with a knife after the three of them had a threesome.

The 46-year-old woman, a coffee shop attendant, was arrested shortly after, said Sibu OCPD Asst Comm Stanley Jonathan Ringgit.

The 34-year-old victim, a council market cleaner, was reported to be in stable condition.

The man, a 28-year-old assistant lorry driver had invited the victim, his girlfriend, to his rented room in Jalan Lajong about 9pm on Sunday to discuss their three-way relationsh­ip.

“His wife had promised not to do anything. When the victim arrived at their place, the three were happily chatting.

“The man had alcohol while the women took soft drinks.

“The three ended having sex. “The wife went to the toilet after having sex with the man.

“The man continued having sex with his girlfriend but the wife returned with a knife and stabbed the other woman,” said ACP Ringgit.

He said the man rushed out of the room and called his brother, who was renting an adjoining room, to chase the fleeing suspect.

The woman was caught and handed over to the police.

ACP Ringgit said the couple were married under local traditions and have been together for seven years.

The man’s girlfriend is married with four children.

Her husband is working as a logger in the Solomon Islands.

He said the case is being investigat­ed for voluntaril­y causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon.
