CarSifu to showcase 20 vehicles

KUALA LUMPUR: The CarSifu Auto Show opens its doors to the public today with 20 vehicles on display.

Organised by Star Media Group Bhd, the show is located on the Ground Floor Concourse of Mid Valley Mega Mall, and is open from 10am to 10pm daily until Sunday.

There will be a varied mix of vehicles ranging from the latest budget and premium sedans to sport-utility vehicles (SUV), pickup trucks, hatchbacks and multi-purpose vehicles (MPV).

Among the showcases will be BMW’s latest G20 3 Series that comes with Near Field Communicat­ion technology and Volvo’s elegant-yet-powerful S90 flagship sedan.

The XC90 full-sized SUV will also be on display alongside the multiple awards winner XC60 which won last year’s coveted “Car of the Year” title, as well as the “Best Mid-size Luxury SUV/Crossover” and the “Best Hybrid Vehicle” titles in the 2018 CarSifu Editors’ Choice Awards.

In the pickup category, there is Isuzu’s new Z Prestige variant for its line-up of D-Max trucks that comes with new design cues as well as two accessory packages.

Ford has brought its latest heavyweigh­t contender – the Ranger Wildtrak 2.0 Bi-turbo, and the Ranger Raptor.

Customers who book the Raptor will receive an exclusive limited edition Ranger Raptor bomber jacket and car air purifier, while a RM6,000 cash rebate will be offered for the Wildtrak.

Honda, meanwhile, is showcasing its CRV mid-sized SUV along with its City compact sedan, while Proton has its popular X70 SUV, Exora MPV and Saga for the public to peruse.

For those with a love for the outdoors, check out the Mitsubishi Triton VGT Adventure X and Outlander SUV as well as the Forester and XV crossover from Subaru.

Nissan is also showcasing its latest family-friendly vehicles – the X-Trail Hybrid and sport version of the Serena J Impul MPV.

Children will be entertaine­d by Cellworm Crax, the clown who will be on hand to create free balloon sculptures, and visitors who complete a CarSifu survey will earn themselves Himalaya Pastilles peppermint candy to experience a throat-soothing fresh breath, so don’t miss out!
