PETALING JAYA: The Star’s eTuition programme, its latest education offering which covers all subjects from preschool to secondary school, is now available on the video-on-demand service dimsum.

Covering preschool to secondary syllabus across different languages, the eTuition programme was introduced to support students in their education efforts and to help boost their academic performance.

Dimsum chief marketing officer Lam Swee Kim said that by having the eTuition programme made available on dimsum, students will be able to learn at their own convenience.

“Convenience is not the only aspect, learning through video can be fun and enjoyable too.

“We believe that in the digital era, education can be consumed anytime, anywhere without the constraints of time and space.

“We hope that more students are able to take advantage of this learning flexibility to improve their studies,” she said.

The eTuition programme is Star Media Group’s latest effort in its long history of education offerings.

“We have a myriad of educational assets under Star Media Group, such as Kuntum, Newspaper-in-Education, The Star Education Fair as well as the Star Education Fund, and we wanted to create a one-stop centre for all educational needs,” said The Star’s chief content officer Esther Ng.
