Kenneth Ma seen without ‘promise ring’

HONG Kong actor Kenneth Ma (pic), whose girlfriend cheated on him with singer Andy Hui recently, has been seen without his “promise ring”.

This has led to tongues wagging that Ma had broken up with actress Jacqueline Wong, 30.

This was apparently the first time since the affair made headlines that Ma was seen without the ring, Sin Chew Daily reported.

A photograph of the actor at a car wash on Tuesday clearly showed that he was not wearing the ring he bought with Wong.

Earlier last month, Wong was caught on video cuddling and kissing Hui, the husband of Cantopop superstar Sammi Cheng.

Wong is now reportedly in the United States to pursue studies in acting and directing.

When asked if he is still in touch with Wong, Ma replied: “I’ve said what needed to be said. Thank you.”

Quoting China’s Red Star News, the woman had deliberately done so because her daughter had yet to board the flight as she was still shopping at the duty-free outlets in the airport.

The mother claimed that she was out of breath and stopped the flight crew from closing the cabin door.

After about 40 minutes, she agreed to leave, much to the relief of the 160 passengers on board.

The flight bound for Shanghai from Bangkok eventually took off at 4.06am on Tuesday. It left without the woman and her daughter.
