Singer Tsai nearly bares all at birthday bash

Taiwanese singer Jolin Tsai inadverten­tly displayed an ample amount of cleavage during her birthday celebratio­n last week, China Press reported.

Known for her hit song Dancing Diva, Tsai was seen wearing a white tank top while dancing away at an outdoor bar on the eve of her 39th birthday on Sept 15.

There had been speculatio­n that Tsai had gone under the knife, but she had denied it.

In June, the pop queen clinched two major awards at the Golden Melody Awards held in Taipei.

It is the Chinese showbusine­ss’ equivalent to the Grammy Awards.

Tsai’s album Ugly Beauty was nominated in seven categories.

> A food delivery driver got a pleasant surprise when a customer left a note saying the meal that was ordered was actually meant for him.

It happened on Sunday when the food deliveryma­n was making his rounds in Ipoh, Oriental Daily reported.

The customer left a note on the receipt.

“Bro, have you eaten? Here’s a treat from me. You need not send the food to my location. Have a bite and take a rest,” the customer wrote.

A picture of the receipt was uploaded on Twitter by user @danialrafi­qq, which went viral.

Since Wednesday, the tweet had received more than 21,400 likes.

The receipt showed a McChicken value meal from McDonald’s costing RM15.90.

“We hope that there will be more customers like this,” @danialrafi­qq wrote.

> Japanese film director Makoto Shinkai’s new film Tenki no Ko (Weathering With You) broke several box office records in Japan on Sunday, becoming the highest-grossing film in the country this year, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The film has grossed RM470mil im Japan so far.

It overtook Shinkai’s earlier masterpiec­e Kimi no Na wa (Your Name) and the Aladdin movie.

Tenki no Ko, which is currently showing in Malaysian cinemas, tells the story of climate change and how young people are working hard for their future.
