ACTOR Datuk Rosyam Nor (pic )has put up a banner at the home of his aged mother urging people not to visit her during Hari Raya, reported Harian Metro.

The actor said the decision was taken by him and his siblings as they were worried that people would come over to visit his 80-yearold mother despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We, the family of Biahsudin, wish you a Selamat Hari Raya. Maaf zahir batin. This year we as a family will not receive visitors – we will do a video call instead,” reads the banner put up by Rosyam and his siblings.

The 53-year-old actor and his siblings have also decided not to have a big celebration this year.

“Every Hari Raya, my mum’s house would be the focus of celebration with family members and relatives gathering there as my mum is the only one still alive from her side of the family.

“We want to follow the advice given by the Health Ministry and the government,” he said.

The decision was also taken with everyone’s well-being in mind, he added.

“God willing, next year we have a big celebration.”
