Lo recalls good times with Chow in long essay

-

AFTER remaining silent for more than 20 days, the first online post that Taiwanese pop star Show Lo made was a 7,214-word essay reminiscing about his relationship with former girlfriend Grace Chow, whom he cheated on, Sin Chew Daily reported.

The 40-year-old was seen by fans to have gone online and offline on Weibo 14 times in the wee hours of the morning to make sure that the post was made in time for May 20, the unofficial Valentine’s Day among Chinese-speaking countries (520 sounds like “I love you” in Mandarin).

Lo wrote of how he remembered vividly the nine-year relationship but that he had caused Chow much sadness.

However, Internet users were not amused by the long-winded post, with many describing it as Lo “rambling on without a point”.

Many surmised that the post was made in an attempt to win back Chow after the two had broken up earlier this year.

On April 23, Chow, 31, made an explosive social media post accusing Lo of sleeping with other female artistes under his wing.

Fans were quick to respond after Lo posted his essay online, telling Chow that she would be the “biggest idiot” if she were to take Lo back.

> The daily also reported that Hong Kong actor Kenneth Ma is once again the subject of online jokes after he was spotted wearing what appears to be a counterfeit version of a shirt by a popular Japanese brand.

In an episode of TV series Flying Tiger II that aired on Tuesday, the 46-year-old, who plays a cop, was spotted wearing a dark shirt with the words “Masteermind” emblazoned on the back.

Apart from the odd spelling, details of the shirt appeared to be the same as those designed by Japanese brand Mastermind.

“Maybe Masteermind is a new brand,” an Internet user quipped.
