> The daily also reported that durian were selling like hotcakes in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore, after the government announced the end of the circuit breaker period on June 2.

According to one of the stall operators, there were about 200 visitors last weekend and they snapped up 20 baskets of durian in two hours.

Stall operators had to keep shouting “one metre” to remind the crowd thronging the durian stalls about social distancing.

“Our staff is limited. The most we can do is to remind the buyers to maintain a safe distance while queuing up,” the operator said.
