Kenneth Ma smitten with new girlfriend

-

HONG Kong actor Kenneth Ma appears to be smitten with his new girlfriend Roxanne Tong and was caught using his breaks in between filming to spend time with her, Sin Chew Daily reported.

Paparazzi caught the 46-year-old actor driving Tong back to her apartment after taking her out on a date on June 12.

The couple later admitted that they had “gone out for a shopping run”.

Ma spent three hours at her apartment before returning to the TVB studio to resume filming for his new TV series Plan B.

Ma and Tong, 33, who replaced Ma’s ex-girlfriend actress Jacqueline Wong in her roles in TVB dramas, announced their relationship publicly two weeks ago.

Ma and Wong broke up in April last year after she was caught kissing married singer Andy Hui in the back seat of a taxi.

Tong and Wong were good friends, with both having taken part in the Miss Hong Kong Pageant in 2012, which saw Wong finishing first runner-up and Tong in the top six.

> The daily also reported that Taiwanese TV host and professional dancer Linda Chien, who was one of the women embroiled in pop star Show Lo’s cheating scandal, might be ending her contract with Lo’s agency.

The 36-year-old is said to be planning to dissociate herself from Lo – her mentor and boss – in a bid to save her reputation.

Lo’s ex-girlfriend Grace Chow made an explosive social media post on April 23 accusing Lo of sleeping with other female artistes under his wing.

Shortly after the post was made, Chien, who is known professionally as Butterfly Sister, posted an apology to Chow on Instagram.

“I would like to sincerely apologise to Miss Grace Chow here and to say sorry to all those who love me,” she wrote on Instagram, which was then regarded by fans as an indirect confirmation that she was one of the women whom Lo had slept with.

However, sources close to Chien revealed that the TV host still felt grateful to Lo for having launched her entertainment career.

Before the scandal, Chien and Lo had been co-hosts on a long-running variety programme 100% Entertainment.

Chien’s manager has yet to reply whether the artiste has officially ended her contract with Lo’s agency.
