Composer’s dream of Siti Nurhaliza singing his song comes true

COMPOSER Ippo Hafiz waited 10 years for Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza to sing his song Aku Bidadari Syurgamu, reported Berita Harian.

The song was included in Siti Nurhaliza’s recently released album ManifestaS­ITI2020.

“I had wanted to compose a song for her for so long. After waiting almost 10 years, my dream has finally become a reality.

“I believe this song can be a gift for her ballad-loving fans,” he said of the song, which contains ‘90s pop elements.

Ippo, whose real name is Muhammad Hafiz Yaziz, said novelist Siti Rosmizah wrote the lyrics.

Ippo’s music video for his new single Ainaa, which was composed with Hafiz Mahamad, has attracted one million views on YouTube.

Hafiz wrote the song to express his love for his wife Aina.

Khalid’s financial difficulti­es were revealed when he sold off his prized golden boot trophy, jersey and other medals.

Wan Fayhsal said the ministry would look into helping Khalid overcome his woes on a long-term basis.

Khalid, whose last job was as a deputy coach for the Royal Malaysia Police Football Associatio­n three years ago, could be offered to play an active role in the national football arena.

“We cannot confirm anything for now, but we will try our best to ensure that his life shines again,” said Wan Fayhsal.
