Students will be able to receive the support package in addition to any scholarships they may already have gained from Keele.

He added that the support package also enables contact with other Keele students via the “Student Support Buddy Scheme”, an electronic device to support study, social life, and contact with friends and family.

International Student Recruitment associate director Adam Hall said the institution launched the support package for students in hopes of easing their financial burden amid trying times.

“We understand that this year has been a particularly challenging one for international students who intend on travelling overseas for their studies.

“By launching this student support package, we hope this provides you with the confidence that we care about your safety and well-being just as much as we care about providing you with an excellent educational experience.”

He added that the university is looking forward to welcoming students to campus in September and helping them settle into the new environment quickly and smoothly.
