A SIX-year-old boy in Batu Gajah, Perak, got himself stuck between a tree and an electricity pole while he was out playing.

His worried parents later called the Fire and Rescue Department for help, China Press reported.

When the firefighters arrived, they found the boy whose right leg was stuck between two tree trunks. His body was wedged between the tree and the electricity pole.

With the help of a hydraulic spreader, they managed to pry the two tree trunks, allowing enough room for the boy to wiggle his leg out.

> King of Mandopop Jay Chou was criticised for being a nuisance to his neighbours for playing the piano late at night, Sin Chew Daily reported.

However, he surprised his critics when he explained that he had no neighbours.

The furore began when the 41-year-old singer uploaded a video of himself playing Franz Liszt’s Un

Sospiro late Saturday night.

Some of his followers commented that he could be disturbing the neighbours with his loud music.

“I’ve considered it, but I have no neighbours, thank you,” he replied.

It was reported in 2015 that Chou bought a penthouse apartment which takes up the entire top floor of the building at Taipei’s Daan district.

The apartment cost him TW$660mil (RM93.9mil) and took one year to renovate. > Taiwanese pop star Show Lo attended the wake for singer Alien Huang late at night in what appeared to be an attempt to avoid the press, Oriental Daily reported. Lo posted a photo on Instagram just past midnight on Sunday showing the building where the wake was held. “I’ve come to see you. I spoke a lot and I hope you can hear me. Rest in peace,” he wrote. Lo and Huang were former TV hosts of a Taiwanese variety show.
