Man fined over smuggled liquor

THE Magistrate’s Court yesterday ordered a local man to settle a B$16,000 fine after he pleaded guilty to possessing 96 bottles of liquor inside his car. Tee Eng Lee, 44, will risk serving 13 months’ jail in default of payment.
