Shops not selling vape products at a standard price

-

CONSUMERS are confused over the retail price of electronic cigarettes as the prices differ across shops, Harian Metro reported.

Surveys from reporters around the capital found that most of the products sold, including vapes, pods, accessories, replacement items and flavouring liquids, were not priced.

Surveys at different stores also found that the prices for the same products differed by RM1, although conventional cigarettes were sold at a standard price.

To overcome the problem, most consumers have chosen to make purchases online.

However, there are still a handful of traders who comply with the law by displaying price tags.

The reporters are still waiting for a response from the Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry to comment on the issue.

Shima said she often received such messages and harassment. This time, however, the messages were sent by a school-going teenager.

“I don’t know why I am often the target of such sex-crazed people.

“This time, the messages are from a school student. Who do you think I am? A sex symbol? You are still in school, your future is not even guaranteed yet,” she said.

Earlier, Shima shared a screenshot of the teenager’s message, along with his photo.

The singer had previously complained of being harassed by unknown men who sent various pornographic images and videos.
