Learn reiki for wellbeing
PRONOUNCED as rei -ki, which means “universal life force” in Japanese, reiki is briefly explained as an ancient energy regeneration technique. To master the art of reiki, belief is not a prerequisite and no props are required. A traditional system which does not revolve around any religion, reiki is inclusive and can be learned by anyone above the age of eight. Once trained in the art of reiki, one can practise every day without any conscious effort and at no additional cost.
The benefits of reiki are manifold. When reiki energy is activated or enhanced within the body, the brain wave pattern automatically slows down to between 8 and 10 hertz (alpha stage), which is similar to the state achieved in meditation.
In the alpha brain wave stage, the body enters into de-stress mode. Vital functions of the body are harmonised as a result with the aid of the energy.
