‘EC’S MOVE MAY HURT BN’
IPOH: The Election Commission’s (EC) redelineation exercise may result in Barisan Nasional (BN) losing votes, said Umno supreme council member Datuk Tajuddin Abdul Rahman. “This is a possibility if the support of those solidly behind a certain candidate is transferred to another constituency. They might just refuse to cast their votes since they have to elect a new candidate in a new constituency,” he told reporters here. The Pasir Salak MP’s comment follows the transfer of 5,000 voters from his constituency to Teluk Intan under the exercise.
