THIS book is about second chances. Rose Raihanah becomes the second wife of Hud Daniel, after his first wife Saffiya Safwa is unable to conceive.

Rose and Hud first met at his workplace. He proposed to her in order to appease his mother, and she accepted in order to regain her family’s assets.

There is some drama from Amirul Haikal, Hud’s best friend, who is attracted to Rose, and from Safiyya and Hariz Amrey who decide to take advantage of the situation to ruin her marriage to Hud.

Rose gets some help from her best friend, Sakinah, and eventually moves to Melbourne to get away from Safiyya and Hariz.

However, she leaves without telling Hud that she is pregnant with his child.

In Melbourne, Rose befriends Ilhan Sufiy, and they begin to have feelings for each other.

When Rose returns to Malaysia after five years, she is unsure whether to return to Hud, or to go with Ilhan.

She eventually decides to give Hud a second chance for the sake of their daughter, Haani Dahlia.

Safiyya finally accepts that she and Hud are not meant for each other, and Hariz pays for his evil deeds. Everyone else eventually does get a happy ending.
