HONG KONG-BASED feng shui mas­ter and re­la­tion­ship ex­pert Mak Ling Ling ( below) will be at Re­sorts World Gent­ing to present her Life & Wealth Sem­i­nar on Oct 29.

Held at the Gent­ing In­ter­na­tional Show­room from 4.30pm to 8pm, the event is for those want­ing to achieve har­mony and bal­ance in all as­pects of their lives.

Mak is one of Hong Kong’s best-known for­tunetellers as well as a TV per­son­al­ity, hav­ing ap­peared on TV shows talk­ing about feng shui.

Her ex­per­tise cov­ers Chi­nese as­trol­ogy and feng shui and her list of clien­tele in­cludes top ex­ec­u­tives of in­ter­na­tional ar­chi­tec­tural firms and i n v e s t ment banks.

Peo­ple also seek this self­pro­claimed re­la­tion­ship spe­cial­ist out for ro­mance-re­lated mat­ters. Mak started out as a part-time for­tune teller in 1992 when she was work­ing in a law firm, but four years later, she went full-time into the field when she re­alised her love and tal­ent for it. It wasn’t long be­fore she be­gan host­ing a TV feng shui show and fol­low­ing that, she be­came a TVB artiste in­volved in movies. She has thus far been in more than 10 movies – usu­ally play­ing her­self, she says. And while Mak does con­tem­plate writ­ing scripts for TV shows some­day, for­tune-telling, she says, will re­main her main pro­fes­sion and she is pas­sion­ate about it.
