47 ILLEGALS DETAINED

JOHOR BARU: Marine police detained 47 illegal immigrants, including the skipper of a boat and a middleman, in Bandar Penawar, Kota Tinggi, on Tuesday. Police said they were trying to return to their country via illegal waterways, when a patrol team apprehended them under “Op Landai”.
