TAKING PICTURES, VIDEOS IRKS DEPUTY SPEAKER
SEVERAL members of Parliament who took pictures and videos during the Budget 2017 debate have irked Deputy Speaker Datuk Ismail Mohamed Said. In issuing a stern warning, Ismail reprimanded lawmakers caught doing so inside the house when it was in session. Among the names mentioned by Ismail was PKR’s Bayan Baru MP Sim Tze Tzin. “Please adhere to the house rules and be seated in your place,” he reminded both the government and opposition federal lawmakers in the Lower House. Ismail also told those who had taken pictures and videos to hand their handphones to the master-at-arms to be deleted.
