Choosing good days
THERE are certain days that are influenced by positive energies, also known as sheng chi.
Some are considered all-rounder days, which are good for most activities.
I would like to introduce the concept of Yearly Virtuous Days and Yearly Virtuous Consort Days. Both of these are all-rounder days, meaning that they are good for most activities.
Yearly Virtuous Days are considered Yang days (where the heaven stem of the day is yang in polarity) and they are especially suitable for external activities, or matters dealing with the outside world.
Meanwhile, Yearly Virtuous Consort Days are Yin days ( the heaven stem of the day is yin), and they are more suited for internal or domestic matters.
To identify Yearly Virtuous Days and Yearly Virtuous Consort Days you need to look at the heaven stem of the day (see Table 1).
