Choos­ing good days

THERE are cer­tain days that are in­flu­enced by pos­i­tive en­er­gies, also known as sheng chi.

Some are con­sid­ered all-rounder days, which are good for most ac­tiv­i­ties.

I would like to in­tro­duce the con­cept of Yearly Vir­tu­ous Days and Yearly Vir­tu­ous Con­sort Days. Both of th­ese are all-rounder days, mean­ing that they are good for most ac­tiv­i­ties.

Yearly Vir­tu­ous Days are con­sid­ered Yang days (where the heaven stem of the day is yang in po­lar­ity) and they are es­pe­cially suit­able for ex­ter­nal ac­tiv­i­ties, or mat­ters deal­ing with the out­side world.

Mean­while, Yearly Vir­tu­ous Con­sort Days are Yin days ( the heaven stem of the day is yin), and they are more suited for in­ter­nal or do­mes­tic mat­ters.

To iden­tify Yearly Vir­tu­ous Days and Yearly Vir­tu­ous Con­sort Days you need to look at the heaven stem of the day (see Ta­ble 1).
