LRT TRACKS TO BE RE­PLACED COOK­ING OIL AVAIL­ABIL­ITY

KUALA LUMPUR: Rapid KL LRT and Mono­rail ser­vice provider Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd will re­place the tracks of Sri Petaling LRT line, be­tween the PWTC and Ti­ti­wangsa sta­tion, be­gin­ning from to­mor­row. Prasarana Malaysia Ber­had said the re­place­ment will be done at night, af­ter its op­er­a­tion time, from 1am to 4am, un­til Nov 22. “The work will be mon­i­tored and there will be no dis­rup­tions to ser­vices,” it said in a state­ment yes­ter­day. – Ber­nama KUALA LUMPUR: The Do­mes­tic Trade, Co­op­er­a­tives and Con­sumerism Min­istry has di­rected its en­force­ment of­fi­cers to con­tinue mon­i­tor­ing busi­ness premises sell­ing cook­ing oil to over­come the short­age of the item. Its sec­re­tary­gen­eral, Datuk Seri Jamil Salleh, said the ac­tion shows the min­istry’s com­mit­ment and that the to­tal num­ber of com­plaints on cook­ing oil recorded na­tion­wide on Satur­day had fallen to 22 com­pared to 31 the day be­fore. – Ber­nama
