‘BOAT’ NOT ‘BOOT’

ISKANDAR PUTERI: The word “boat” became an issue between Johor Health and Environment committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat and Dr Boo Cheng Hau (DAP-Skudai) on Monday. Ayub told the Johor state assembly Boo wanted to give him a “boot” to inspect polluted rivers in the state. Boo tried to explain but was stopped by Speaker Tan Sri Mohamad Aziz. “I said ‘boat’, not ‘boot’,” Boo said later.
