MIM opens of­fice in Pe­nang

THE Malaysian In­sti­tute of Man­age­ment (MIM) re­cently an­nounced the open­ing of its Pe­nang of­fice which will ben­e­fit the north­ern re­gion fra­ter­nity.

The of­fice is lo­cated in the e-Gate De­vel­op­ment area, which is near the first Pe­nang Bridge. Pro­fes­sion­als and cor­po­ra­tions from the north­ern re­gion can now par­tic­i­pate in MIM’s lo­cally­based train­ing and cer­ti­fi­ca­tion cour­ses, in­clud­ing its na­tion­ally recog­nised new se­ries of pro­grammes un­der its Work-Based Diploma qual­i­fi­ca­tions in Man­age­ment and Lead­er­ship.

MIM CEO Si­van­ganam Ra­jaret­nan ( pix) shared the or­gan­i­sa­tions’s rea­son for this of­fice. “It’s sen­si­ble and prac­ti­cal ... Be­sides, the in­dus­try re­lies on a con­tin­u­ing pool of able man­agers to help spur growth and our in­sights and ex­per­tise will sup­port firms wish­ing to en­hance team com­pe­ten­cies, as well as in­di­vid­u­als want­ing to hone their lead­er­ship skills,” he said.

MIM will be of­fer­ing a com­pli­men­tary Con­tin­u­ing Pro­fes­sional De­vel­op­ment (CPD) talk ti­tled “Lead­er­ship is a Re­la­tion­ship” to mark its ar­rival in Pe­nang.
