TRC SYNERGY UNIT’S CONTRACT CANCELLED

PETALING JAYA: TRC Synergy Bhd unit Trans Resources Corporation Sdn Bhd’s Bangunan Sultan Abdul Samad (BSAS) RM74.398 million beautification and relocation job for the MRT 2 Line, has been cancelled. According to TRC, a termination letter was sent to the company on May 20, under a clause which allows it on national interest grounds. TRC it is still negotiating with Mass Rapid Transit Laluan 2: Sg BulohSerdang-Putrajaya project delivery partner MMC Gamuda KVMRT Sdn Bhd on the quantum of compensation it is liable to receive based on the contract.
