A roaring great time

This interactiv­e week-long event is curated with plenty of family activities and tennis-themed fun.

Art lovers are also spoilt for choice. After the Singapore Art Week in January, other events to look forward to are the Children’s Biennale (May to September), Singapore Night Festival (Aug 18-19 and Aug 25-26) as well as the Gallery Light to Night Festival in November.

The Children’s Biennale, organised by the National Gallery of Singapore, is a contempora­ry exhibition of art by renowned internatio­nal and local artistes specifical­ly targeted at children.

The National Gallery of Singapore is also working with the Civic District for the Gallery Light to Night Festival in late November.

The two-week-long event will feature interactiv­e installati­ons and programmes such as flea markets, film screenings, live performanc­es, workshops and a food street.

Currently on is the spectacula­r light displays at the iLight Marina Bay 2017, which runs till March 26.

Foodies can indulge in the diverse culinary offerings at the Singapore Food Festival from July 14 to 30 or make a booking for the Michelin Guide Street Food Event on April 14 and 15 at Resorts World Sentosa, which brings together street food listed in Michelin Guide Singapore.

For gourmands, check out the annual World Gourmet Summit held at several venues in the city from March 20 to April 16.

Starting next month till May 7, it’s Tulipmania in the city as thousands of tulips are flown in to be displayed at Dome in Gardens by the Bay, the world’s largest glass greenhouse.
