DEAD WOMAN BELIEVED TO BE ROBBERY VICTIM

MALACCA: The body of an elderly woman, believed to be a robbery victim, was found with her face covered by a cloth at her home in Taman Sri Bayu 1 here yesterday morning. Alor Gajah police chief Supt A. Asmadi Abdul Aziz confirmed the discovery of the body of the woman, believed to have been robbed and killed. “The body was found in a sitting position in the living room with the hands tied with a cloth while the face was also covered and the mouth stuffed with cloth,” he said. – Bernama
