FRANCHISE BODY TARGETS RM370M INVESTMENTS
KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA) is targeting a potential investment of RM370 million through the 2017 Franchise International Malaysia conference, which it will be organising in collaboration with Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry. “We expect the three-day exhibition held at the Putra World Trade Centre will attract more than 10,000 visitors including international visitors,” MFA chairman Datuk Wira Mohd Latip Sarrugi said in a statement. More than 50 local companies and 30 international companies from the US, Australia, Japan, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Singapore and the Philippines will be participating in the largest franchise conference and exhibition to be held from May 12 to 14.
