Wrinkles at 35
WOMEN’S skin becomes less elastic and smooth much earlier than men’s skin.
Until the age of about 35, most men have skin that is smoother than the average woman’s, according to dermatologists.
Many women, meanwhile, see their first wrinkles around the eyes at the beginning of their twenties.
Men see their first wrinkles on average around the age of 35. Skin cell production slows down and their skin loses elasticity. Their skin is also less able to retain moisture. Wrinkles tend to become more pronounced as lipid production falls at the same time. Experts advise using “high performance skin creams with special transport systems” that can penetrate their ingredients to the deeper levels of the skin. These ingredients include vitamins, pro-vitamins and proteins that promote moisture. – dpa
